APPLICATION HIGHLIGHTS [back]

Create the O2M and M2M records that you want to mass edit. Configure the model and select the O2M/M2M field and select the fields of O2M/M2M objects that you want to edit. Dynamic Action will also be generated by clicking the button "Add Sidebar Button" available on 'Mass Form View Editing' form view.

Configuration [back]

In order to configure the model, please go through the steps below:
Settings-> Technical-> Actions-> Mass Form View Editing
(Note: The following is an example of configuring the mass edit for 'account.move' model.)

1. Select the model and o2m/m2m field. Related target model will appear automatically. Here, you can give the domain and groups as well. If any message is set on 'Message' field, it will be shown on related Mass Form View Edit Action's wizard.
2. The 'Editable Fields' will allow you to select the fields that you want to edit. The 'View Fields' tab shows the fields on the wizard. Here is one option available: 'Optional', which you can set 'Hide' or 'Show'. If you don't want to show it then just set the status to 'Hide'.
3. 'Add Sidebar Button': clicking this button will add the action on selected model view.

Action on Form [back]

Open form view, Go to Actions-> Mass Operation(Account Moves) and a wizard will popup.

Set Values and Apply [back]

1. Records that would be updated based on the values. Here you can remove the records as well.
2. You can either Set or Remove the values for selected fields on the Mass Form View Edit record.
3. Give the value that you want to set/remove and click 'Apply' to update the related records.
