Job Description

As a Odoo developer, you will join a fixed micro team and participate in development projects for our customers, and be involved in all development- related aspects of our technical operations. The micro team usually consists of a project manager, solution architect and a developer.

Responsibilities
Be a great team member; this means you communicate with your micro team daily and challenge them to be better in what they do
Able to identify the requirement and propose a good alternative solution to client requirement.
Design and develop Odoo apps(new module development, customization). Develop applications/ features that affect everyday life.
Strong knowledge of Core Python and programming concepts
Maintaining existing modules.
Complete and clear documentation for any task/work done.
Test new functions / modifications to existing application modules in accordance with application support. Good to have knowledge or hands-on experience on Automation testing.
Configuration, installation and maintenance of server and multi database Odoo environments.
Other development tasks in systems developed in Odoo.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Odoo development.
Any technical and Functional knowledge of ODOO standard modules like Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, Inventory Management, Accounting, Website, E-commerce etc.
Knowledge of Python and its libraries.
Knowledge of website development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) is a great plus
Experience in Software development life cycle in an Agile environment
Fair knowledge of PostgreSQL, its queries & stored procedures. Also, knowledge of XML scripting is an advantage
Knowledge of Version controls (git, bitbucket.)
Knowledge of ODOO API i.e. System Integrations
Ability to learn fast and execute accordingly
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

We have room for a proactive and self-driven ERP System architect in our growing Sprinter team. You understand the business needs of your customers and utilize this expertise in designing, defining, and implementing functionalities. Our programming language is Python, but relevant knowledge of another language is ok.

Our IT responsibilities are divided into the following:
- Python programming in the MVC framework
- PostgreSQL relational databases
- Integration technologies such as HTTP, XML, XSL, JSON
- Linux server environments

As an ERP System Architect, you would
Work closely with a fixed team that would include a Project Manager and Odoo Developer(s)
Take the customers’ requirements and design an Odoo solution to meet their needs.
Understand the "Odoo way of doing things" to guide the requirements.
Compare the customer's needs with Odoo's built-in functionality.
Evaluate available Odoo modules (both OCA and from the Odoo app store) and decide which modules to use.
Work out the configuration and the additional custom development that will be needed, then write a technical specification for your development team.
Responsible for planning and overseeing overall systems/application architecture, including ERP and e-commerce solutions, planning for the most secure, robust, and scalable architecture.
Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve.
Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates.
Accountable for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope.
Be a proactive team member and come up with new ideas and solutions as per customer and team needs.

What will help you to be excellent in your role as an ERP System architect:
You don’t need to have experience in Odoo, any kind of experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans will ensure you success (ERPs especially)
You have seen what the work would be about, so the experience that would help you to be successful in the role:
You are a person who loves to solve problems and have the analytical mindset to tackle them together with your team
Great communication abilities (written & oral); this is where we all need to improve always but a good base is a nice head start; both English and Finnish appreciated
You will work with people so capability to work other than machines only would be great!
Learning mindset; you love to go and search all the new and cool stuff and bring them to the team(s)
