SprintIT wrapped 2024
As the first quarter of 2025 is getting to a close, and being inspired by those year-end recaps everyone loves, we wanted to create our own version to highlight the achievements, milestones, and moments that defined 2024.
How the Sprinter tackled the VAT change head-on?
The VAT change in Finland, introduced in September 2024, posed a major challenge for many companies. However, our Solutions Architects Joakim and Johan, led by CFO Konsta Aavaranta, rose to the challenge by developing a tailored solution.
When the new VAT base was finally confirmed in May 2024, our team had a plan in place to update our own accounting package. Quickly they realized that this alone would not be enough, so it was decided to develop a module that would cover the needs of all customers in a comprehensive way. What started as one module eventually became three.

SprintIT Finland turns 10!
SprintIT was born from the love of open source code and the enthusiasm of three IT men to run their own business. When Odoo (or OpenERP as it was then called) started to come up more and more often in business conversations, Marko Happonen, Petri Heino and Roy Nurmi seized the opportunity with determination.
Fast forward 10 years: we are now the largest Odoo house in the Nordic countries, we have 50 Sprinters on our payroll from almost 10 different nationalities, we have offices in Finland and India, and we have been ranked in the TOP 3 best Odoo partners in Europe for two years.
